GW Travel continues to design and operate unique steam-hauled tours
Over the years some of the highlights have been

Steam tours over the entire distance from Hoek van Holland to Vladivostok,
a distance of 7,440 miles (11,970 km).

The longest steam hauled tour ever operated, covering 11,106 miles
(17,873 km), the 'BAM 2000 Steam Express' exploring the remote BAM
railway, Sakhalin Island and then returning via the Trans-Siberian mainline. In
total this tour covered 15,926 miles (25,630 km) in 47 days.

2002-2005 the Jingpeng China Orient Express, to the last steam-worked
mainline in the world over the spectacular Jingpeng Pass in Inner Mongolia.

In 2004 the Trans-Canadian Steam Express, the first Canadian Pacific
Trans-Continental passenger train for 30 years, and the first steam hauled for
50 years.

In 2001, GW Travel restored a P36, Russia's most modern express-steam
locomotive design, and the largest steam locomotive in Europe.
