A classic luxury travel experience.  Experience the magnificence of the Canadian Rocky Mountain ranges right outside your window while wrapped in the comfort and sophisticated elegance of carriages that have cradled presidents, royalty, prime ministers and celebrities.

The exceptional luxury of a bygone era surrounds you in our private guest quarters and in the details of our beautifully restored vintage cars that offer modern conveniences.  Spacious lounge cars afford an opportunity to relax after savouring a gourmet meal prepared by Royal Canadian Pacific's master chefs and to socialize as a painted sunset gives way to a star-filled sky.

The Van Horne was built in 1927 at a cost of $73,031 Cdn.  The car is named after William Cornelius Van Horne, CPR's famous railway-building general manager, who later rose to president before becoming CPR's first chairman.  The Van Horne has hosted gatherings of celebrities, politicians, lords & ladies and company directors.
The N.R. Crump was built in 1930 as a parlour car equipped with 30 swivel chairs at a cost of $52,921 Cdn.  It was converted to a six-stateroom car in 2000.  The car is named after Norris Ray Crump who started with CPR in 1920 and rose to the company's top job during his 52-year railway career.
