Our luxury rail venues provide all-inclusive, impeccable food and beverage service. Savour the extraordinary delights and delicate creations of our talented chefs - customized menus can be created to suit any occasion. 

 

Royal Railcar Dining

Experience the style and elegance of first-class railway epicurean delights, without ever leaving the station. The Royal Canadian Pacific offers private lunches and dinners for groups of 14 to 32 guests. Board our exclusive heritage railway carriages housed in Calgary's landmark Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion and enjoy an unparalleled level of personal service.

Reservations are available from January thru April and October thru November. There is a minimum tariff for 14 guests and a maximum capacity of 32 guests.

Lunch - 3 course meal

$175 + GST per person

 

Dinner - 5 course meal

$250 + GST per person

Royal Railcar Wine Tasting

The Height of Luxury Option: Experience the same luxury as Churchill and royalty have enjoyed as you indulge in the greatest wines ever produced. Wines include first growth Bordeaux, Grand Cru Burgundy, Champagne, and others

 

Great Wines of the World Option: Tantalize your palate as our wine director takes you to the vineyards of Australia, California, France and Italy. A regional Canadian cheese selection will accompany this sampling of seven wines.

 

Royal Rail Car Wine Tasting reservations are available from January thru April and October thru NovemberThere is a minimum tariff for 12 guests and a maximum capacity of 30 guests.

Day Excursions
The Royal Canadian Pacific Dining Train showcases the splendor of the untouched wilderness in Banff National Park as you head west through the Canadian Rockies. Choose from three famous destinations in Canada's mountain playground.

 

All Dining Trains leave and return on the same day. The maximum capacity is 32 guests (minimum 24) for a sit down meal, however we can accommodate up to 85 guests for a buffet. Your group will have exclusive access to the public areas on our business cars.

Banff, AB — $550.00 + GST per person

Lake Louise, AB — $650.00 + GST per person

Field, BC — $750.00 + GST per person

Our menu selection includes an array of traditional and exotic land and sea dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients from around the world.  A sample of the Royal Canadian Pacific Cuisine served in the Old World Elegance of our Business Car Dining Room includes:

  • Poached Tiger Prawns Served in a Butter Lettuce Crown with Mango-Chili Chutney
  • Cauliflower & Blue Cheese Chowder
  • Lemon Sorbet with Pineapple & Coconut Rum
  • Australian Rack of Lamb with Tequila, Feta and Roasted Garlic Demi Glaze
  • Chocolate Crepes Stuffed with Cream Cheese Chocolate Mousse, White Chocolate Sauce and Strawberry Moussiline
