El Encanto and Hotel George

The trip was GREAT. Everything went VERY
well, and I had a grand time. Amtrak, and particularly their
personnel, were NEVER better (well, with one exception, and
oddly that was an attendant on the Coast Starlight. However,
selfishly, being a day passenger, that didn't bother me).
In addition El Encanto and Hotel George were up to -
indeed, a touch beyond - expectations. (Who trains the staff
at the latter? Typically, when I was heading to the elevator
to check out, a cleaning lady rushed to push the down button
for me.)
So, THANKS for the trip. We look forward to Canada -
and many others - I hope.
